Guest/Accompanying person:  100 €

(To be paid prior to or on site at the meeting. Guest fees cover SAME13 social events such as the Sunday Welcome Apero, coffee breaks, and Poster & Beer sessions. Optional events are not included)


SAME Welcome Apero sulle Note del Lago on Sunday 8 September, coffee breaks, and special events organized during the week are included in the registration fees.

SAME Dinner at the Villa on Thursday 12 September is free for students, while full participants are requested for a contribution of 50 €. SAME13 participants will reach by taxi-boats the private harbour of historical Villa Rusconi-Clerici in Verbania, where the dinner in the beautiful exotic gardens will offer a special menu of local and organic products in collaboration with Slow Food Lago Maggiore. After the dinner the SAME13 Party will continue up to late in The Cellars of the Villa with the crazy pop-rock concert by Timetravel band.

Low income country researchers and students can ask for reduced registration fees: Only attendants who are current residents of countries determined to be a Low Income Country according to Band 1 and 2 of the HINARI (please see the country list here) can apply by sending a request to the Local Organizing Committee (email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be notified in writing by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Cancellations received before the 1st of July 2013 will receive a full refund less a € 50 administration charge. Cancellations received from 1 July 2013 until 15 August 2013 will receive a 50% refund. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after August 15, 2013. Substitute participants will be accepted free of charge.
